luckily, xevin, i’ve never heard that little ditty, so i’m immune to ear-wormitis.
i recommend liberal application of the stones to deal with this issue. sticky fingers is preferred.

That’s good Tom. Currently crushing a fresh hop pint canned last week.
A collaboration of Bale Breaker, Ecliptic, and Ruse Brewing. Fresh Simcoe, Strata, and Centennial hops. I’m like a junky this time of year. More than other months

Well goodness, I guess I forgot to post my pics from a couple weeks, here!
Went to Colorado in mid-August for a therapy training/work trip/needed getaway after some stressful events in July. Learned some things about doing therapy out in nature, and spent a couple days with some Bus friends who were out in Colorado from Omaha.
Then for Labor Day weekend, met friends in South Dakota/Badlands area for a few days of camping.
Here is my August Colorado trip haul:

socket set from red bus brewing in folsom. 6.8% abv. clear. medium dark gold with a hint of red. citra, mosaic, and el dorado hops combine for a hoppy bitterness right from the start. fruit with a mild pine finish. mouth tingles for a while after swallowing.
took some cans home for further research.

moon light brewing co’s bombay by boat west coast ipa. one of the greats. they’re in santa rosa, and give their neighbors, russian river, a run for their money.
6.2% abv. dark gold. unfiltered, but clear through cold conditioning (like lagering?). smooth rounded pine flavor. nice bitterness front to back. lingers beautifully.

Make it a cabinet with shelves. Every Bus owner will flinch and smile when they hear the distinctive THUD when you slam it closed!

nothing on the sides, dave, but there are fasteners on the top.
could be fasteners on the inside, but it is finished, so no inside view.

Thanks for taking those pics! It is helpful to see how they solved the "vent problem." And I can see that even with that seam, it looks just fine.
I need to get going on that project some time! Maybe it could be storage in our pool area or something.
Or I could hang it in my office, use it for storage, and use the back window as a dry erase marker board. (I currently have a sheet of tempered glass as the marker board.)
Then the project could be a business expense... Hmm... Might have to do some measuring.

la strong west coast ipa from paperback brewing in glendale. bunch of breweries have brewed beers to raise money to support those who lived through the devastating fires there this winter. procured at my local trader joe’s. can’t say enough about that place. couldn’t imagine living without one nearby.
la strong is 7% abv. light golden with a yellow tinge. slight chill haze. pine and stone fruit flavors. slightly harsh bitterness comes on mid-palette, lasting til the back. lingers.

We sponsor a local Early Stage/Startup Tech Industry CEO group that has an annual Leadership conference up in Whistler. Each year, as a way to check the pulse of the industry, we put on a "Beer Poll" that has 5-7 multiple choice questions and we post the results on the last day of the event. When the CEOs do the poll, they can choose a beer or a non alcoholic beverage.
This year we had an assortment of Warsteiner, Guinness, and Czechvar (the original Budweiser) beer to choose from and had a few left over after the event.

3. If last year was a cocktail …
o Zombie - Still alive… technically. But only because of extreme financial engineering.
o Moscow Mule - Seemed refreshing, but kicked harder than expected.
o Screw Driver - Investors kept turning the screws on ROI, and it got pulpier by the quarter.
o Old Fashion – The do more with less playbook. A classic, strong, getting really old.
o Long Island Ice Tea - A chaotic mix of everything. Strong at first, but the real effects hit later.
o Irish Coffee - Running on caffeine, but the whiskey is doing the real work.
o Mai Tai – Too many meeting with lawyers.
o Caesar – I’m salty, spicy and still in charge, dammit!
