Restored 131905205 distributor all NOS parts Price: 350.00
|
This is a fully restored 1966-67 type 2 bus distributor. It will also work with bugs as well running a 30-1 carb. Each distributor is disassembled, inspected and cleaned in an industrial parts cleaner. The distributor cap clips are removed, stripped and then zinc plated and dipped in a black chromate for the black finish and years of corrosion resistance. The drive dog, it's spring, the screws, advance weight spring and washers are also re-zinc plated. The casting is media blasted with a special media that removes stains and oxidation.
The distributor is then reassembled (with Bosch distributor grease) while oiling the shaft and bushings. The (2) main shaft fiber washers are replaced. The vacuum canister is the correct 210 NOS German Bosch. NOS German Bosch points and condenser were installed along with a NOS German Bosch dark brown cap and rotor. It also has a new shaft o-ring installed as well as a new dust cap.
These distributors include the correct and restored original VW hold down clamps that are zinc plated and then dipped in a black chromate for the correct color.
Post restoration, each distributor is tested on my Sun distributor machine.
This distributor is now ready for decades of further use.

These distributors are correct and what was on the 1966 and 1967 buses with the 1500 engine. It will also work fine for any 1500/1600 engines running 28-1 or 30-1 or 30-2 or 30-3 carbs. This distributor is not a match for the 34-3 carbs. It has the wrong vacuum signal. It's identical to the 113 905 205K distributors that were in the 67 bugs.
If you're running an 009 distributor currently, you'll love the improvement in drivability and gas mileage with this vacuum only distributor on your engine.
